Documentation For "Rebel Special Weapon Missions Plug-In Version 1.1"
These are some Escape Velocity missions for the Rebels involving a special weapon. To use these missions, drop the "Rebel Special Weapon Missions" plug-in into the "EV plug-Ins" folder. If you can't recognize what it is by the plug-in icon, too bad! You will learn when you get the first leg of the mission.
These missions' resource ID's and mission bits won't conflict with the missions built into the game, or with any other of my mission plugins. They may conflict with mission plugins made by other authors, however, so don't have this mission plugin in the EV Plugins folder with scenarios by other authors. Doing so may cause EV to crash
I wrote the orginal versions over about 3 weeks, using 4 versions of Jeremy Condit's Schmelta-V. They were completed with version 1.0d8, but there will probably be a later version by the time you read this.
I put a lot of effort into creating them. I tried to make them authentic, how Ambrosia would do them. They haven't been tested; they are at version 1.0, but if you find any bugs or have any suggestions e-mail me at JWBjoraker@aol.com.
To get this set of missions, you must do the Rebel Special Ops mission, and have a fairly good rating with the Rebels, and a combat rating of "Noteworthy" or higher. Noteworthy means 1600 kills - one kill from each crew member in a ship that you destroyed.
These are my first missions, but you will be seeing more. Also, the plug-in contains only missions, but I'll be adding new systems and stuff eventually.
